Internal Pneumatic Clamp with Copper backup shoe | Pneumatic Pipe Line up Clamp
The SPM EQUIPMENT’S Internal Pneumatic Lineup Clamp With Copper Back Up Shoe assures a rapid, accurate alignment of two joints of pipe during the welding operation. Front and rear heads operate independently to lock the clamp into position.
Specially designed shoes on each head exert pressure uniformly around the inside circumference of the pipe to maintain necessary alignment. Each Internal Pneumatic Lineup Clamp is easily and quickly adjusted for different pipe wall thickness.
The SPM Equipment Pipe Internal Centering Clamp is suitable for welding a large variety of steel pipe diameters, from 16″ to 60″ ( 406.4mm – 1524mm) and features a forward / reverse travel motor, air reservoir tank, two double acting air cylinders that propel the clamp for a double joint distance, independent front & rear line up heads, 40 feet reach rod & control ends, operation & maintenance manuals.
SPM Equipment conversion kit is available to quickly adjust the clamp for different size of pipe.

- Copper Back up ring assemblies are installed Pneumatic Internal Line-up Clamps.
- Manually/automatically align the brake pads with the inner pipe walls to prevent the internal clamp from moving within the pipe.
- Ring Assemblies provide totally separate front and rear clamping mechanisms of the Pneumatic Internal Line-up Clamps.
- Copper back-up clamp design ensures each copper shoe will fully contact the internal surface of the pipe.
- The designing decreases the time for fit up and eliminate errors such as lowering of the copper shoes during the welding cycle.
- The shoes can also be resurfaced three times giving you more efficient and cost-effective operation.
- All other accessories related the semi-automatic& automatic welding machine like a Belt, Copper Back-up Strip, Nozzle and all mechanical repairing of Semi-automatic& automatic welding machines.
- Available sizes from 16” to 48” pipes and upper sizes available upon request
- These models are recommended for pipes that have a minimum pipe thickness of 18mm.
